This November what will be your choice
The choice is going to be very difficult for cine goers this November. Also it would be the battle of survivor for many film makers because the month will be loaded with five biggies.
Films which are lined up for the month starting from November 9th are SAAWARIYA, OM SHANTI OM, GOAL, DUS KAHANIYAAN, and AAJA NACHLE. These movies will also see the loads of starts to which includes super star Shahrukh Khan to debutant Ranbir Kapoor.
On the occasion of Diwali on 9th November perfectionist Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film SAAWARIYA will battling with King Shahrukh Khan and Director Farah Khan combo’s second film OM SHANTI OM.
According to Bhansali SAAWARIYA is his baby and also is his toughest film. The movie is produced by Hollywood biggie Sony Pictures which marks the entry of Hollywood production houses to Bollywood. SAAWARIYA is also the launch pad for Kapoor clan, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor son Ranbir Kapoor along with super star Anil Kapoors daughter Sonam Kapoor. As we all know that Bhansali movies always come as masterpieces so the expectations from SAAWARIYA is too high.
On the other hand Shahrukh and Farah Khan are also not letting any stone behind to make OM SHANTI OM as biggest hit of the year and they are also trying their best to over shadow the hype of SAAWARIYA. OM SHANTI OM is also the launch pad for super model turn actor Deepika Padukone. The promos of the movie are all ready suggesting that how gorgeous this lady is.
Giving a week break to movie lovers there will be two more biggies DHAN DHANA DHAN GOAL and DUS KAHANIYAAN to hit the big screen on 23rd Nov. Both being big budget films, they are diverse in genres but are seemingly targeting younger group of audience.
After CHOCLATE, GOAL is second movie of director Vivek Agnihotri which is based on football. Movie stars John Ebraham, Bipasha Basu and Arshad Warsi. After the success of CHAK DE, Agnihotri is also hoping for the same because his movie is also based on sports.
DUS KAHANIYAAN is the production of Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta. There are two dozen odd actors in DUS KAHANIYAAN but for many presence of Sanjay Dutt is money’s worth. The USP of the movie is ten different stories directed by different directors. The movie is also introducing TV star Rohit Roy as director.
Madhuri Dixit fans will have to wait till the last Friday of the month because her come back film AAJA NACHLE will be hitting the screen on 29th. The movie is produced by Yash Raj Films and will also star Akshay Khanna, Konkana Sen Sharma and Kunal Kapoor. Early reactions to the promos of the movies are suggesting that this comeback movie of Madhuri will be one of the best films of career.
So its for sure that the choice will be difficult for movie lovers and many will use their holidays as movie picnic…
